Note to Teachers:
This site is designed to help Kindergarten and First Grade students with their first online research experience. Students will select one animal from the navigation list and learn some basic facts. After they have looked over the information, they will answer questions posted in their 'African Animal' booklet - Download here (need Microsoft Publisher)

Process:

Using this website, students will gather information to fill out their personal African Animal Booklet.

Task:

Students will cut and paste a picture of their animal from the Photo Gallery found on each animal's page.  Teachers will assist students with printing.

They will answer questions in their booklet using the information on their page.
After Research, student will learn:
  • What their animal eats.
  • How it eats.
  • How the animal protects itself.
  • What kind of covering it has.
  • That all animals need sleep.
