Excel Battleship

Instructions

 

·       Highlight the cell range A1:J15, choose the Dark Outside Border (go to Format, then Cells, select border)

·       Make sure that the column width is set to 10

·       Make sure that the row height is set to 20

·       Place your 5 ships using the following guidelines:

 

·       CARRIER         5 cells     Dark Blue

·       BATTLESHIP  4 cells     Purple

·       AVENGER        3 cells     Dark Green

·       SUBMARINE  3 cells     Orange

·       DESTROYER   2 cells     Yellow

 

·       Players will take turns guessing which cell may contain a part of a ship.

 

·       If you guess where your opponent’s ship is and miss, mark your grid with a Light Green fill.

 

·       If you guess where your opponent’s ship is and hit, both opponents should mark their grid with a Red fill.

 

The first person to sink your opponent’s ships wins!
