Google Drawings is a free diagramming app available with your Google Account. Just type in the URL: Drawings.google.com and log into your account. It's a perfect tool to integrate art by including the Art Specialist. Do you have to be an artist? No! You can create flowcharts, organizational charts, mind maps, concept maps, postcards, trading cards, memes, and so much more. Use Google Drawing as an assessment tool by have students use Google Drawing to create a representation of any given objective.

Using Google Drawings to create a different explorer card.
Google Drawings can be used to make a review card. Select any topic, use a background as a complimentary picture, then using shapes or pictures, add text and link to information.

Using a place from either history or their book, students had to create a postcard and have a character write back to them with details about the place of interest

- Using the "Explore" tool, have students get a past and present picture of a place, building or general location of a setting from the theme or book your class is reading.
- Create a postcard from a character from the book.
- The postcard should include some important information from the location.
