Introduction

Task:

  • Watch the video entitled Animal Faces, Animal Places. (The video is about 15 minutes long, but you can watch the movies as segments. You may want to limit the 15 minutes into a couple of segments).
  • After a brief discussion on the video, have the kids open Kidspiration
  • Go to 'Pictures'
  • Click here to open the  Animal Places Template  (this is a Kidspriation Template and you will need this to open this template)
  • Students will look in the library under "Geography" and locate the globes that represent each of the seven continents and place them on their page
  • Next, have the students go to the Animal library and find an animal that can be found on each of the continents. They should select an animal from the video.
  • Print and share!
